Global warming: Global warming is a big issue in the world and on long term aswell. The media offers many judgement-day predictions on how it is/will be affecting us in the future so in a school environment i think the children will already be relatively informed on that topic, but general knowledge in how to treat the environment right, would never be in vain
Poverty: I would like to combine this with hunger aswell, as those to struggles often are combined. There are people starving all over the world due to poverty and its a huge problem in alot of countries in the third world
War: War is a given issue. Many places in the world today are plagued by conflict large or small scale, people are still suffering and dying. Educating children in how to get along and aknowledge eachother despite differences between people, is detrimental for making a more harmonic world in the future.
